Mirage Eyewear Ltd. is situated on the banks of the beautiful North Saskatchewan River in the town of Devon, Alberta: ten miles north west of Edmonton International Airport and fifteen miles south of the world-famous West Edmonton Mall. From this location, product is shipped throughout Canada to sales representatives in all provinces.

In January 1992, Roy, Mel, Renie, and Alf Youngberg launched Mirage Eyewear Ltd. with the express desire to provide high quality products at a reasonable price to retail outlets in the drug, gift, souvenir, and convenience store sectors across Canada.

Roy Youngberg brought 18 years of sunglass experience and expertise, while Mel and Alf brought an additional 25 years of experience to the new venture. Both Mel and Roy select and test the various styles for all the Mirage lines. They also service select retailers throughout a variety of territories, which allows them to understand the market with a hands-on approach.

In addition to the successful sunglass and reading glass lines, Mirage Eyewear Ltd. has recently launched a very extensive line of watches that include a variety of features, styled after all the high tech models such as Movado, Rolex and Anna Klein to name a few. The prices are realistic, and the look is genuine, making the style so similar that it is hard to differentiate between a top end model and that of Mirage’s.

Over the past decade, Mirage has brought its customers the newest designs in the industry, from spring hinges and unique nose pieces, to tinted and “zero” lenses, from ground and polished lenses to high-impact polycarbonate designs-and that is just the sunglass line.
